Impact of your support
Each year, your support enables St. John Ambulance to:
Support Community First Aid: Help our Medical First Responders provide critical first aid services at over 700 community events across B.C. and Yukon every year, ensuring safety and care for thousands of people.
Empower Tomorrow’s Leaders: Fund programs that develop the leadership skills of our cadets and provide our youth with opportunities to participate in global leadership exchanges, shaping the changemakers of the future and creating international connections.
Provide Comfort and Connection: Bring emotional support to schools, hospitals, care homes and other vulnerable populations through therapy dog visits, touching the lives of those who need it most.
Equip Thousands with Lifesaving Skills: Train over 50,000 individuals annually in first aid, CPR, and opioid response techniques, giving more people the confidence to take life-saving action in emergencies.
Prepare for Emergencies: Ensure volunteers are equipped with the training, tools, and resources they need to respond effectively to crises such as wildfires and floods. Funds will also be used to provide access to specialized skills development and critical equipment.

Results of our Gala in 2024
“The Knight is Young” Gala in 2024 raised $105,000, enabling 15 youths to represent St. John Ambulance B.C. and Yukon at the Asia Pacific Youth Competition in Hong Kong. These contributions also supported vital community programs in 2024, strengthening safety and resilience across B.C. and Yukon. This incredible impact reflects the generosity of our supporters.
