Welcome to the Therapy Dog Learning Library. Here you can find the documents, presentations, videos, policies and forms needed throughout your Therapy Dog volunteer journey, from application and evaluation through onboarding and ongoing volunteering.
This learning library is currently being expanded. Additional volunteer resources, forms and training materials will be added as they become available.
1. Application and Onboarding
Follow the steps below to complete your application, prepare for your Therapy Dog evaluation and complete your onboarding. Please complete each stage in order.
Stage 1: Program Overview and Document Collection
Begin by reviewing the program overview and completing the required application documents. Once everything has been completed and submitted, you will be contacted about the next stage.

Partner Facilities
Organizations interested in ongoing or recurring Therapy Dog visits through a facility partnership.
Use this option if your organization is interested in exploring ongoing or recurring Therapy Dog visits as part of a facility-based partnership.
Volunteers
Individuals interested in learning more about becoming a Therapy Dog volunteer team.
Use this option if you are interested in joining the program and would like to review volunteer requirements, timelines, and next steps.
