20% More Volunteers giving back to our communities

After the devastating impact of COVID-19, which greatly diminished our volunteer numbers as it did for many organizations, St. John Ambulance recognized the urgent need to rebuild and strengthen our volunteer base. In the face of adversity, we persevered, and in 2022, we emerged even stronger, thanks to the increased dedication and involvement of our growing volunteer team.

By expanding our volunteer base by more than 500 passionate individuals, not only have we had our ranks replenished, but we have also seen our organization revitalized. The collective efforts of our volunteers, old and new, have reignited our mission to empower community safety and ensure that we are better equipped than ever to serve and protect those in need.

This growth of the volunteer base has proven to be a transformative force. As we welcomed more individuals to our organization, we tapped into a wellspring of resilience, passion, and commitment that has invigorated our services and programs. With increased numbers and collective determination, we have been able to expand our reach, deliver vital first aid and emergency response support, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

With the continued support and involvement of our growing volunteer team, we are well-positioned to navigate future challenges, enhance our impact, and create a safer, more prepared society for all.
